Clean and tidy cloth boards (in two tones) with gilt titles and illustration of the door knocker. half title with a lovely line drawing by Lederer. title printed in burgundy and black. The rest of the book is in a high quality print format, with Lederer's illustrations in subtle, pastel tones. Colophon to rear shows that this is an edition of 750, and this is copy #101 - signed by Wolfgang Lederer to the colophon. Book is beautifully clean, but has a few light foxing spots throughout. A scarce edition, we can find only one copy available to purchase from the USA at the present time.
