2022 Marc Brédif - Chinon
6 bottles of Marc Brédif Chinon by Baron de Ladoucette in the original wooden case. The vintage is 2022, which promises to be a very outstanding vintage for wines from the Loire.
Quality is a priority for Baron de Ladoucette. The estate has a long and colorful history and was founded in 1893 under the original name Château Les Roches. The wines are made in the state-of-the-art winery at the Grade II listed Château du Nozet and are considered some of the best examples of their kind. The grapes for Marc Brédif Chinon grow in the northern part of the Chinon area, in Savigny-en-Véron.
Marc Brédif Chinon's vineyards are mainly on gravel soils. The grapes are destemmed and packed, then fermented in contact with the skins for 15 days and pumped twice daily to extract color and aromas. The wine is transferred to tanks to undergo malolactic fermentation, and is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
The result of 12 months of wood aging:
The Marc Bredif Chinon has a beautiful deep red color. It has a sweet fruit scent with nuances of jam and cedar. Soft beautiful taste that transitions into smooth, harmonious tones, with notes of fruit and soft tannins, followed by a beautiful ripe aftertaste. Very tasty red Loire wine that is very suitable as a dinner wine. Serve it with simmered or briefly fried beef, seasoned lamb, game birds such as pheasant and duck breast, roasted suckling pig, stew, chicken in red wine sauce with mushrooms, various cheeses.
The bottles will be shipped (fast) to you in a protective packaging.
