ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND, by Lewia Carroll, published, purchased, and given as a birthday gift to the present owner's Grandfather in May 1891, with anotation 9/5/91, having forty-two illustrations by John Tenniier, published in London by Macmillan & Co, in 1891 with the note 'Twenty-First Thousand' [later editions note 'twenty-Five Thousand' ], with a Specimen Page at the back which is a facsimile of the original manuscript for the book with illustrations by the author, the book having some discoloration and foxing commensurate with it's age
