A very old and big porcelain Kutani-yaki* fruit plate with exquisite handpaited Lucky Gods Daikoku* and Ebisu* patterns on it. and with original wooden box. *Kutani-yaki is a type of ceramic that is made around Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It is a traditional craft of ceramics with colored illustrations and was created in the early Edo period. Kutani ware is characterized by its bright colors, bold and elegant patterns, and a technique called ``over-glaze''. Overglaze is a technique in which pigments are painted on top of the glaze and then fired again.
