Ajiro vase for 華道 Kadou-ikebana
*Pyrography casting method (designated as a national traditional craft) Molds are made using "mane", a mixture of clay and Japanese paper fibers, baked at approximately 900 degrees Celsius, and then cooled to approximately 400 degrees Celsius. Pour in the molten metal.
*網代Ajiro Ajiro is a general term for objects made of thinly processed plants such as wood, bamboo, and grass that are woven alternately vertically and horizontally. This includes three-dimensional objects.
*高岡銅器Takaoka copperware: The origin of Takaoka copperware dates back to 1609, when Maeda Toshinaga, the lord of the Kaga domain, entered Takaoka Castle and opened the town of Takaoka. (Currently Tode Seibu Kanaya, Takaoka City), Yaemon Kanamori and seven other foundries were brought to present-day Kanaya-cho, Takaoka City. On February 17, 1975, it was designated as a traditional craft by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry.
