Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker:
was a historic 4th-century Saint and Greek Bishop of Myra. Because of the many miracles attributed to his intercession, he is also known as Nicholas the Wonderworker . He had a reputation for secret gift-giving, such as putting coins in the shoes of those who left them out for him, and thus became the model for Santa Claus. His reputation evolved among the faithful, as was common for early Christian saints. His feast day is 6 December.
Baptism of Christ:
The Baptism of Christ is one of the most important moments of the New Testament, and is still today one of the most represented scenes in the Russian iconography. On this ancient wood icon there are Christ within river Jordan as he is being baptized, and John the Baptist on the left bank, bowed towards Christ. On the other side there are some angels waiting to dress Jesus up.
