Art Nouveau flower composition with seaside background ( near Marseille) by good listed French painter Raymond Allègre (1857 Marseille - 1933 Marseille). Student of A. Vollon, L. J. F. Bonnat and J. P. Laurens. Received bronze medals in 1889 and 1900 on the world exhibition; 1899 Prix Raigecourt-Goyon; 1903 Chevalier de la Legion d´Honneur. - He owes his success as a landscape painter above all to virtuously performed views of Monaco, the Côte d´Azur (esp. By Martigues and Cassis), characterized by brilliant colors, and, after a short trip to Italy, repeatedly taken up by the city of Venice.
