”Bergfrühling” (original German title on the back inscription) , this large Modernism painting was executed in 1942 by Albert von Pirkhert (1887 Sarajevo – 1971 Vienna). From 1908 studied at the Vienna Academy with C. Griepenkerl, A. Eisenmenger and J. Schmid. 1912–14 study trips through Europe. The illustrator, painter, graphic artist and art critic created figures, portraits and landscapes. The Theresien Altar in the St. Michael's Church in Vienna was made by him.
