Offering is a beautiful full size antique violin, labeled:
¨LORENZO VENTAPANE FABBRICANTE DI STRUMENTI DA CORDE Abita Calata Borgo di Loreto N°. 23¨
The violin is in good condition with no cracks, rosewood and ebony set up. Very nice two pieces not flamed maple back with matched ribs and scroll, high grained spruce top. Golden-amber varnish with some tears and wears.
Length of back is 356 mm,
whole length is 592 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 167 mm; middle bouts: 113 mm; lower bouts: 206 mm. Full size.
