Description: Good quality straight high grained spruce was chosen for the top, and the maple of the two pieces back with beautiful grain is strongly flamed. Matched sides, neck and scroll. The purfling is a tasteful work of good craftsmanship, just as the shining, golden brown varnish. New rosewood set up with Wittner tailpiece, new strings and new bridge, the violin is ready to play.
