A very fine antique 4/4 italian master violin, labeled Jacintus Santagiuliana fecit vicetiae Anno 1815. The instrument is in ready to play condition with tears, wears, professionally repaired small cracks, grafted scroll, bushed peg-holes, new ebony set up and new master made bridge. The violin has an excellent medium grained spruce of the top and one piece back of softly flamed maple with matched ribs and scroll. Rich brown color varnish over golden ground shows an amazing wooden choice. The whole length of the violin is 587 mm and the back 358 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 168 mm; middle bouts: 116 mm; lower bouts: 209 mm. Full size. The sound is very deep, rich, powerful, suitable for soloist. Shipping by DHL or FedEx is possible and would be claimed according to your personal requirements
