This is a set of two Japanese kitchen knives.
These knives are manufactured in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, renowned as one of Japan's leading blade-making towns (formerly known as "Noshu 濃州"). This region has inherited a history dating back to the Kamakura period, passing down the traditions and skills of master craftsmen in blade-making regions. "Noshu Magoroku 濃州孫六" is the name of a famous Noshu swordsmith from around AD 1500. Carrying on his name and tradition, these knives are meticulously crafted.
