A fine cylindrical porcelain vase or brush pot, standing 24.5cm tall and weighing 1292g, finely painted in polychrome enamels in cloisonné style with a mix of floral and geometrical designs. Marked to the underside with 9 character mark Dai Nippon, Sei-zo Shippo Gaisha, "Made in Great Japan, by the Totai Shippo company". Estimated age: ca 1885.
