Oris - Men - 2011-present

For the ChronOris Date, Oris fitted the reliable Swiss Sellita SW200-1. Essentially a competitor to the ETA 2824, the SW200 is an automatic movement ticking at 4Hz and offering a power reserve of 38 hours. Given the vintage inspiration, the ChronOris Date features a steel case back rather than the display case back commonly found on most modern Oris models. From the top of the domed sapphire to the flank of the steel case back, the ChronOris Date is 12.5 mm thick. Water resistance is 100M and, due to the more balanced size of the case, both crowns can be used while the ChronOris is being worn. Also handy is the luminous treatment on the hour and minute hands along with the white segment of the hour markers.
