Giacomo Agostini is, along with Mike Hailwood, the greatest motorcycle champion of all time. "Ago" was fast, he rode MV Agusta 350 and 500 which were the best motorcycles of the late 60s. He was also a handsome man and this painting obviously reflects the charm he exerted on the female public. We are here at the 1965 tourist trophy and we will say very prosaically that Asgostini will finish 3rd in the 350 cc race won by Phil Read. what would have happened if he hadn't been distracted at the starting line?
