A Chinese blue and white porcelain jar. China, Qing dynasty Decorated to the exterior in strong cobalt blue with some of the Eight Precious Things (Babao, 八宝) and flowering plants. Band of stylized lappets above the foot, geometrical band around the top-rim. Inscribed to the base with a double blue circle. Daylight pictures included. Provenance - private collection, Netherlands. Dimensions: height – 12,2 cm; diameter - c. 11,5. Weight - 427 g. Conditions report: very good condition for the age, small chips to the top-rim only. Minor firing faults. Age- and use-related scratches to the glaze. Strong white light tested. Check pictures for details. Worldwide delivery with online tracking.
