This is a Kutani vase with a traditional landscape from Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. This work depicts a peacock, flowers, and a Japanese peony. The condition is without cracks. What looks like a crack on the surface is 貫入"kannyu", which is a crack in the glass layer on the surface. "Kannyu" refers to the crack-like pattern that appears when fired pottery is taken out of the kiln and cooled. This is a traditional Japanese technique. It's not a crack. Of course, it won't leak if you fill it with water. It will be sent with a signature by Japan Post EMS. EMS is less likely to incur expensive handling fees and customs duties like DHL.
