This wine has an intense purple color, with aromas of blueberry, undergrowth, coffee and cocoa. The tannins, robust in attack, even alive, evolve happily with more sweetness and elegance, and the mouth ends in a very good balance. Canon-Fronsac The Canon-Fronsac AOC extends over 280 ha, west of Libourne. With Fronsac the name Canon-Fronsac form the Fronsadais, an important part of the Libournais. On soils are close to those of Saint-Emilion, made up of limestone asterries and Molasse of the Fronsadais, Canon-Fronsac produces 13 000 hl of red wines each year. The wines of Canon-Fronsac are made from Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The conjugation of these different elements gives fairly delicate wines that keep a solid tannic structure. The wines of the AOC Canon-Fronsac are distinguished by their aromas of red berries and spices and which are transformed over time into flavors of truffles.
