Resin-made - Shakuhachi, Tozan Style (都山流), Vermilion Lacquer Inside, Metal Junction (Japanese vertical flutes) This flute is designed to be easily disassembled at the joint, allowing it to be split into two equal parts. This design facilitates straightforward cleaning and adjustments on the inside. It is a type that is easy to maintain, with the joint made of metal and the interior coated in vermilion lacquer. Dimensions: 55 × 3.2 × 3.2 cm (Diameter at the thickest part is 5.4 cm) Weight: 383 g Shakuhachi is a traditional Japanese flute with a long, end-blown design, crafted from bamboo. Introduced to Japan from China in the 7th century, it reached its zenith during the Edo period (17th-18th century). While traditionally made from bamboo, modern versions are also available in ABS and hardwoods. Historically, it was utilized by the monks of the Fuke sect of Zen Buddhism in the practice of suizen. Playing it is possible, but proficiency requires proper training and practice. I can't play it, so I haven't tested it. Good condition. There may be other small scratches and dirt caused by age.
