Four incense burners or flower arranging vases by Daniel de Montmollin for the monks of Taizé. Daniel de Montmollin co-founded the Taizé brotherhood from 1942. After devoting his early years in the community to masonry and cooking, he discovered pottery in Cluny in 1949 alongside Alexandre Kostanda and took this creation to Taizé from 1950. Dimensions from 15.5cm diameter to 17cm diameter. Height 5cm. All in excellent condition and signed underneath. The package will be sent tracked and insured.
