Six very decorative beautifully hand coloured in gorgeous frame with silk mount and gilt frame. Unglazed. Etching with hand-colouring. The size of the individual prints is 10 x 14 cm. From one of the volumes of 'The Naturalist's Library', by James Duncan (Edinburgh, London and Dublin: 1835). Included images of wild felines; Felis lynx, Felis caligata, Felis pardalis, Felis canadensis, Felis colocolo, Felis serval. Print made by: William Home Lizars: Biography Engraver, printer, and painter, based in Edinburgh; designed and engraved banknotes; died 30 March 1859 (Edinburgh), leaving no family. Condition is good. Some metal frame have moved from the original place. Some surface dust. Not examined out of the frame. Some dents on frame.
