Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva Especial is the flagship of Marqués de Murrieta. It is made only in excellent vintages with grapes that come from the La Plana estate, located in Finca Ygay, the jewel of the winery. A wine that, in the vintage presented, has been aged for 24 months in American oak barrels and is presented after almost 6 more years refining in the bottle. Dalmau Reserva is a paid red wine from the D.O. La Rioja produced by the Marqués de Murrieta winery. The grapes used by Dalmau Reserva come from a century-old vineyard located in Finca Ygay, more specifically in Pago Canajas. Finally, Dalmau Reserva ages for 19 months in Allier French oak barrels and refines for another twelve months in the bottle.
