Signed with the stamp of the goldsmith,Jean-Alexandre Chertier (born in 1825 and died on September 27, 1890) is a 19th century Parisian goldsmith, active between 1857 and 1890. The report between the Grand Prize of the universal exhibition of 1878 for the realization of the ports of the central portal of the Notre-Dame cathedral in Strasbourg. Named his works by him are kept at the Musée d'Orsay.
