Complementary pair baluster shaped vases displaying a courtyard scene during springtime. The neck is decorated with scrolling florets against a pink ground, the reverse inscribed with a poem. Handcrafted in China around 1960+. Very detailed and neat work from the artist with nice shadings and an elegant shape. Both vases are marked on the bottom with a hand painted Qianlong mark. The black lines have been printed, but the colour has been handpainted. Height: 25 cm Diameter: 11 cm Weight: 691g + 641g Condition: Excellent condition with only minor surface wear.
