The book sketches Franklin's three expeditions, and gives all the information to be had respecting the fourth and last sad one wich will forever be shrouded in mystery to this world..... Franklin's first journey into Arctic Regions was made in 1816. His second, two or three years later. His third in 1825, and the last on the 26th of May, 1845 with the 'Erebus' an 'Terror'. two strong and well made vessels, with 140 men, set out on his last Arctic Expdeition, and from wich he has never returned. Book with new cover in good condition. Just one beautifull handcoloured plate -"Discovery of the Franklin Expedition boat"... Very interesting book. Including package maximum 1 kg.
