A rare Chinese Export Cantonese Fan, painted
The fan dates (1840 -1880) “19th century”
The wood sticks fine lacquered in different colors and decorated with gilded scenes
The tiny faces were delicately painted and applied to the paper leaf, clothes have been cut from decorative silk textiles and applied onto the surface, decoration of the fan is fascinating depicting courtesans scenes on the back and front impressive colorful scenes.
