Very rare additional suite of, Joseph Foret published, first edition 1960-62 Divine Comedy prints on Japon nacré paper including a handwritten and dated dedication by Dali on Japon. Only 21 examples are made with a suite on Japon paper + a few additional japon suites for the 10 'Ad Personam' books (most of these 10 books came without the japon paper suite but only a suite on Rives) Salvador Dali - Divine Comedy Original First French Edition on Japon Nacré. Published by Joseph Foret, Paris, 1960-62 From a Limited Edition of only 21 + max. 10 'ad personam' examples. Reference: Field catalogue page 189-200 The suite contains the following items: - handwritten dedication by Dali "Hommage de Dali 1962" - 100 original woodcut prints on Japon nacré (size text per page approx. 32,5 x 26,5 cm) - 1 original Joseph Foret Divine Comedy Box, L'enfer I, but this is not the original the suite came in new !!!! This additional suite came with the 'ad personam' Foret Divine Comedy for Mr. Jean Subrenat, owner of restaurant La Méditerranée in Paris. (there is no justification page with the suite). Since this additional suite was part of our other part of the 'Jean Subrenat' suite, but did not have a box with it, we offer it as a separate suite aside from the suite with text.
