Lovely silver (.925) handmade pendant manufactured with the ancient jewellery technique known as filigrana (filigree).
This pendant shows inside an original Roman emperor Caracalla (198-217 AD) silver denarius minted in Rome circa 207 A.D.
The coin show the Carcalla laureate head right and complete legends:
ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, laureate head right, /
PONTIF TRPX COS II Mars advancing right, holding transverse spear in right hand and trophy over shoulder in left hand.
