Toshihide Migata 右田年英 (1862-1925), Japanese woodblock print of a kabuki actor 役者絵 (yakusha-e): Ichikawa Danjûrô IX (also known as Sanshô) is in the role of Yaegaki-hime 八重垣姫 (Princess Yaegaki). The princess is wearing a vibrant pink kimono with a white chrysanthemum flower design. Her hair in an elegant coiffure heightened by an elaborate hairpiece of blue cherry blossom flowers. The print is from the series 'Sanshō awase sugata' 三升合姿 (A Comparison of Sanshô's Performances and Poems). There are at up to 27 other prints in this series. Dated: Meiji 26 明治廿六年 (Anno 1893).
