The rigor that distinguishes the company style is found in all the wines of the Ronco dei Tassi winery, but the precision that the Collio Bianco “Fosarin” possesses is unique. A truly convincing wine, with the dominant Pinot Blanc giving it finesse and a discreet and never invasive touch of wood, which gives it depth. This splendid wine is the result of the will of Fabio Coser, host of Ronco dei Tassi since 1989. Son of art, he graduated in Conegliano in 1975, for many years he lent his knowledge to leading Friulian companies, until he decided to start his own business. Over the years, the Ronco dei Tassi vineyards have grown in the area from Monte Quarin to Monte Fosarin. Since they are collected within a park, they are many small parcels bordered by woods, on very poor soil but rich in mineral salts, with careful and low-impact viticulture. One of the oldest vineyards owned by Ronco dei Tassi is precisely the one that gives life and name to this wine, Fosarin: here there are plants that reach up to sixty years of age. The Collio Bianco “Fosarin” manages to embody all the best characteristics of the territory in which it is born: a perfectly calibrated wine, capable of perfectly balancing elegance and power, with a nice savory and fruity finish. A wine that was born thanks to the winery's firm belief in cultivating the vineyard in a careful and respectful manner and, subsequently, implementing winemaking processes in the cellar that avoid subjugating the flavors and aromas of the grapes, but, on the contrary, that enhance the characteristics that the terroir gives them.
