Offered for auction is the rare 9 april 1945 issue of TIME magazine, specifically featuring the (upcoming) collapse of the Germans on both the Western and Eastern front. The commander GENERAL PATTON is beautifully caricatured on the front cover by the famous artist ERNEST HAMLIN BAKER. See photo's of the content of the magazine; it is complete and in used but stable condition (it was certainly read by a soldier). These pony editions would have been distributed specifically to the army personel ). This is a really difficult to find issue with GENERAL PATTON on the cover (with a focus of his army on the western front) which will be a nice addition for your WW2 collection!
