Austro-Hungarian silver candlestick of angular based form with highly decorated column. This fine imposing size candlestick will grace any dining table or mantelpiece. Baluster shape candlestick raised on large hexagonal stepped base. Hand hammered and beautifully engraved on both the base and the body. Dianakopf with cartouche shape mark, and maker mark. Height 27 cm, weight 235 grams. Silver fineness 800/1000. The base is hollow, not weighted! The candlestick is not flawless. It has old repairs and minor defects (I photographed it). Overall it is a nice, usable piece of art. Please view all photos. Guaranteed to be as described.
