When born and raised in one of the most magnificently decorated cities in the world, a trained eye for classical wonders comes as no surprise. Wandering the streets of Rome, Chiara developed a passion for decorative objects and antiques that would blossom into a lifelong career — with a special dedication to domestic silver and tableware. Chiara studied Art History, followed by a Master’s degree in Art Business. After many years of working with antiques, she decided to deepen her academic knowledge even more, pursuing a Master’s in Decorative Arts & Historic Interiors. When it comes to her greatest passion of silverware, she loves to imagine the lives these pieces have had. In old times, the hierarchy of materials was very important, and silver pieces were created for special occasions, leaving a trail of remarkable stories. Having worked with Koopman Rare Art, Sotheby’s Institute, various museums, Tefaf Maastricht and more, Chiara is a leader in her field. In 2023, she was nominated Freeman of the Goldsmiths' Company. With endless curiosity, Chiara explores the historical and sentimental value of submitted objects. In her refreshing auctions, she often mixes and matches unexpected styles, inspiring buyers around the world.
