Hand fan - bone, paper, lithography
A beautiful antique French fan from circa 1840s.
The fan has a double layer paper leaf, with lithography on both sides, hand painted with genre motifs. The guards and sticks are made of bone with metal inlay with a mother of pearl rivet.
The fan is complete with no bits missing and comes with the original box. The fan's leaf is in very good condition with small natural signs of use, the guards have repairs in two places. Please see the photos as they are the part of the description.
