【Summary】 ・Great Japanese sword(Katana) made by 4th Michitoki(道辰四代). ・The sword is authenticated by NBTHK(Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai) as "Hozon Token(Special Valuable Sword)". The certificate paper is included in the set. ・Koshirae was created in the late Edo period 【About 4th Michitoki(道辰四代)】 ・Aizu Michitoki(会津道辰) is the twin peak of the Aizu Shinshinto(会津新々刀), along with Aizu Kanesada(会津兼定), and is one of the most famous names representing Aizu(会津). ・The first Michitoki(道辰) swordsmith was a disciple of Nagamichi Miyoshi(三善長道) and continued for six generations until Meiji era. ・Although this work does not indicate the period, it is authenticated by Mei as the 4th Michitoki(道辰四代). ・The 4th Michitoki(道辰四代) was a highly respected master craftsman who was even ordered by the Aizu domain to make swords for the lord of the domain. 【Blade/condition】 ・The sword is in very good condition. ・There are some small scratches in places that appear to have been used in actual combat. ・Hamon: Kogunome Midare ・Boshi: Notare-Cho ・Kitae: Masame-Hada 【Koshirae】 ・Koshirae was created in the late Edo period. ・The total length is 100 cm and the length of the Tsuka is 24 cm. ・There is minor damage to the saya. ・The black base color is elegant and gives the piece an Edo-era flavor. 【Attention before bid】 ・This is a truly domestic Japanese sword that has never left Japan. When exporting, an export permit must be obtained. It takes about 20 business days from the time the buyer makes payment to the time the transportation process begins. This is because exporting Japanese swords requires permission from the Agency for Cultural Affairs. ・Export of Japanese swords from Japan to other countries is restricted. Depending on the situation of the shipping company and your country of residence, it may not be possible to ship. We will of course do our best to send the item, but if no carrier is available, we have no choice but to cancel the transaction. (So far we have been able to transport them without any problems in most cases.) ・Regardless of the carrier's situation, China and Russia are banned from importing Japanese swords.
