Alfred l de Breanski Snr. (1852-1928) - A pair of mountain landscapes

I am offering for auction a superb pair of late 19th century oil on canvas of mountain landscapes, by renowned listed artist Alfred l de Breanski Snr, 1852-1928. One signed with his monogram and dated 1890 bottom left. The landscape with cattle painting measures 66 x 41 cm. The frame is 89 x 64 cm. The Llanberris painting measures 60.5 x 41 with the frame 83 x 63.5 cm. Condition of the paintings is fair. Please view all photos for accurate condition. They are a genuine attic find and had sat in an attic covered in an old rug for many decades. Discovered when house was cleared after owners death. A real treat of a find though tempered by condition of both paintings. I have given them a wipe over to remove dirt and grime, but they could do with proper cleaning and new frames, which are very worn. Again please view all paintings. The reserve reflects both paintings condition. Alfred de Breanski (1852 – 1928) was a British painter. His Constablesque, landscapes of England, Scotland and Wales are particularly noted. Some of his works were exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Southampton City Art Gallery, The Royal Agricultural University Collection and Brighton and Hove Museums and Art Galleries have holdings of his work. He had brother, Gustave de Breanski and a son Alfred de Breanski Jnr. who were also painters. Please note. Due to the fragile nature of old frames and glass, our shippers do not provide insurance for any damage caused during transit. We go to great lengths to ensure each painting is packed and protected to a very high standard but sadly cannot compensate or refund for any damage occurring to frames or glass during transit. Therefore the frame and any glass is a gift to you with zero value and you are bidding on the artwork only. Due to Brexit, there are delays at EU customs borders though the situation is improving. Please do not blame me for delays or any customs duty payable. I really appreciate your understanding and patience. Steve.
