Dufftown-Glenlivet 8 Year Old (Late 1970s Bottling)
A very old bottle here that is nearing 50 years in age of existence
A 750ml bottle of whisky from the Dufftown distillery bottled with their black and red coat of arms label. The Fluid ounce and proof system was mainly prevalent in the 1970s so this would have been late 1970s early 1980s thereabouts. It is tough to establish exactly when it would have been distilled but it could have been as early as 1965 and bottled in 1972 at the earliest.
