Haig - Gold Label - Spring Cap - b. 1960s - 75cl

A taste from another time ... doesn't exist anymore today. But so far all 1950 dimple and haig have a similar character, I like it very much. Nose 90 Oranges, leather couch, citrus, machine oil and smoke. Anise and some cloves and my Italian herbs Taste 90 Strong for its age and alcohol content. But very round and then suddenly the oak comes through. Stronger than the dimples. Smoky with leather and oranges and malt and bread. Then anise and oak and dark chocolate. Over time [as if it didn't have enough] it becomes a lot rounder and very caramel and orange jam comes through. Vanilla and honey get really strong, interesting together with the old haig style, smoky and oily. Roasted nuts Finish 89 Peppery and oak again. In fact, it becomes very cute over time. Vanilla honey and caramel. Stay
