Beautifully framed in a black shadow box frame with dark grey mount board and acrylic glass. This genuine Peckham Rock has been float mounted with a museum display card printed on foamex to replicate the original Banksy installation from The British Museum (see last photo). Authorised by Pest Control/Banksy for The British Museum 'I Object' show in 2018. Banksy smuggled the original into the museum in 2005 and stuck it to a gallery wall, which went unnoticed by staff for three days, before being removed. Acid free materials have been used to attach the Peckham Rock to the backing board and can easily be removed if buyer ever wished. Original price sticker was removed at time of purchase to prevent discolouration to the wood. This will be included and sent with the framed rock. Will be packaged securely to ensure it is delivered in the same excellent condition.
