This wonderful bike was my favorite bike over the last few months of the Berlin winter and I'm sad to see it go, but it's time to find it a new home. It was originally built for the revered cycling clothing brand Castelli by the legendary Legnano bicycle company and had an Italian Racing Red color, but over the years it had gotten a lot of chips, so I removed it to reveal the fully chromed Columbus pipes underneath and then gave them a shine. In total I spent over 20 hours polishing the frame and all components by hand. Due to size compatibility limitations, it comes with a complete Chorus 1995/96, excluding the brakes and headset. However, this is no ordinary road bike as it comes with brand new 32mm wide tires and full fenders, making it a perfect bike for light off-road or touring use. The entire bike was completely cleaned and refurbished from the frame up. I am a mechanic with 20 years of experience and specialize in the restoration and preservation of vintage racing bikes.
