A very RARE and beautiful book written by René Dussaud, Paul Deschamps and Henri Seyrig..."La Syrie Antique et Médiévale Illustrée", published in 1931. The set was published on the occasion of the 1931 Colonial Exhibition in Paris, to give an overview of the archaeological riches of the Syrian countries with all the excavations findings. Book in very good condition. 160 plates in collotype each accompanied with full page description in fine clean condition. Externally light wear around edges and corners, some shelfwear. Ex library book with only signs depicted in the last 3 photos- NO other library signs!!! Rarity
