A very rare Chinese terracotta horse rider, seated straight on his horse. Depicted with beard and bun hairdo. On the back, his dog seated on a circular cushion. It is very unusual to find this kind of equestrian pottery with pets on the back of the horse. The last ones were found in the Eas Tang Tomb excavation. Good condition. It presents remains of polychromy. Provenance: Sotheby´s auction house. It includes old Sotheby's Catalogue ( March 2001 ) and Thermoluminescence test made by Oxford Authentication LTD in 2000. Notes: The piece includes a Spanish Export License (Passport for the European Union), at the time of sale it is requested in the name of the buyer, the process takes one to two weeks. - If the piece is destined for outside the European Union, the substitution of the export permit will be requested. This procedure entails Fee expenses that the buyer must pay during the application process. This process can take 2 to 4 weeks. SHIPPED WITH INSURANCE The Seller can prove that the lot was obtained legally , provenance statement seen by Catawiki. Important information.
