It has a golden yellow colour and has been allowed to mature for 12 years in casks made from three different types of oak. These are American and European sherry casks in addition to American ex-bourbon casks. This creates a rich character. The aroma mainly reveals notes of citrus zest and vanilla, which carry through to the flavour. You will also pick up a spicy hint of nutmeg. The whole is rounded off by a lingering finish.
