Flag of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Force ◆Flag Size: 35×43 cm Material: cotton ◆Sash Size: 38×13 cm Material: cotton "美保空32会 Miho-sora 32 kai" This is the Miho Naval Air Force. "Miho" is located in Tottori Prefecture in western Japan. In October 1943, the Miho Naval Aviation Corps (Preparatory Training Course) was established, and fifteen- to six-year-old boys with a burning desire to save the country underwent rigorous education and training day and night. Training for the battlefield took place day and night, but the war was almost over and the training was suspended. The students were sent to construction sites. While some young men went on suicide missions, others were sent to work as personnel to build infrastructure. The young people at Miho were the latter. "32 Association (32会)" is the name of the group. We are reminded of the young men who trained day and night to go to the battlefield with this "Rising Sun". There are old and has some dirt rubbing, so please understand the situation. Carefully packaged and shipped from Japan to overseas. I have other rare items up for current auction, so please check back.
