Labelled Fagnola - 4/4 - - Violin
You are bidding on a very fine 4/4 violin, labeled Hannibal Fagnola fecit Taurini anno Domini 1923 HFT.
The instrument remains in good ready to play condition with one small old repaired crack to the right upper corner, good rosewood set up and interesting old bridge. The whole length of the violin is 585 mm and the back 358 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 167 mm; middle bouts: 114 mm; lower bouts: 205 mm.
Materials: very nice two pieces strongly flamed maple back with matched sides and straight high grained spruce top. Golden-brown varnish. For any further questions feel free to contact me.
