Up for auction is a nice old vintage full size violin. The label says: Franciscus Geissenhof fecit Viennae Anno 1812. The tastefully figured two pieces maple back measures 360 mm. The total length of the violin is 593 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 168 mm; middle bouts: 112 mm; lower bouts: 204 mm. Medium grained spruce top, brown varnish over golden ground. Some small repaired cracks on top plate. Grafted scroll, bushed peg-holes, new ebony set up, new Aubert bridge and new strings. The sound is very deep, rich and powerful. Shipping worldwide in a very high quality safety package. I use only fast and secure DHL and Fedex shipping!
