Up for auction is a nice 1944 copy of the United States Army Technical Manual TM 30-342 entitled "Korean Language Guide". It t covers many useful Korean words and phrases as required for the invasion of Japanese held terrority as well as Korean volunteers in the US Army and contains many funny cartoons. These booklets were issued to the troops just prior to the invasion of Japanese held territory, to facilitate interrogation and communication of/between Korean POW's, locals etc. Korean language guides are very hard to find!
