This exclusive rum is the result of a combination of tropical aging and finishing in a small barrel on a boat anchored on the Seine River. Plantation Barge 166 Barbados WIRD was distilled in 2016, matured for 4 years tropically in a bourbon barrel in Barbados and an additional 1 year continentally in Ferrand's cellars. The rum set sail in 06/09/2021 and spending 19 months below deck in a new 24L oak barrel - this was one of the first barrel on the Barge boat at all!!! The result is a rare edition, bottled in only more then 50 bottles worldwide. It will be sent precisely and securely packaged via courier with insurance.
