Female archer, c. 1930, with photographer's lifetime copyright stamp (verso). In good condition, some yellowish areas on the back. Please check the scans for details. Riebicke was an important German photographer of the 20th century. He specialized in sports, dance and naturist photography. Until 1933 he published sports and nudes in countless books and magazines. 1926 Riebicke was still photographer for the first German body culture film "Paths to power and beauty. In 2000, a monograph was published for the first monographic exhibition of his nude photographs, edited by the gallery Bodo Niemann, Berlin. In 2002 an extensive retrospective took place in the Photography Museum Moscow. The entire archive was destroyed in Berlin in World War II. The majority of his photos are therefore unique.
