【Product details】
The Showa-era Buddhist altar set includes a censer, a pair of candle holders, and a pair of lotus flower ornaments, all featuring the same matching pattern of the phoenix and paulownia motifs.
The phoenix, a mythical bird prominent in Japanese and Chinese mythology, symbolizes peace, prosperity, and longevity. The paulownia, a traditional Japanese plant pattern, is well-known as a symbol of the Tokugawa family crest and has also been used historically to represent nobility and the imperial family. It's often associated with the phoenix as its perch, and together, they symbolize peace, prosperity, and sanctity.
